I’m Fraser Carson, the photographer behind The Captured Moments Co. I photograph families, newborns, maternity sessions and pets, with an emphasis on natural expressions and time together.
Your family photoshoot can be playful, quiet or a mix of both. We can talk about an outdoor location or an at-home session where everyone feels comfortable. You do not need to arrive knowing how to pose: I’ll guide you while leaving room for the little interactions that make your family yours.
Family portraits are £125 for 15 edited photos, with additional images available for £7.50 each. Tell me who is coming, where you would like the session and what you would love to remember.

Before booking, we’ll discuss who is coming, your preferred location and the photographs you want. We’ll agree the session arrangements around your family, including timing and any requirements for the location.
The package gives you edited photographs to share, print and keep. If you are planning a larger family celebration or have something different in mind, get in touch so we can discuss the coverage you need.

Where Your Moments Happen
For an outdoor family photoshoot, choose somewhere your family enjoys spending time: a garden, a countryside walk or another familiar setting. An at-home session can work well if you would prefer to keep things close to your normal routine.
Send me your preferred location in Hampshire, who will be coming and any accessibility needs. We’ll discuss a setting that works for your photographs and your family. If you have another area or a studio session in mind, ask me about the arrangements before booking.
What if the weather changes?
For an outdoor session, we’ll discuss a plan for poor weather beforehand. Tell me if your timing is flexible or you have an indoor option in mind.
Can pets join our family photographs?
Yes, pets can be part of your family session. Let me know beforehand and check that your chosen location allows them.
How long will our family photoshoot take?
We’ll agree the timing before booking, based on who is coming and the photographs you want. Let me know about children’s routines so we can plan a suitable time.

Preparing for your family photography session
Choose clothes you can move and play in, with colours that feel like you. For young children, bring a favourite toy, a drink and a snack, and think about when they are usually happiest. A familiar location can help everyone settle in. Tell me beforehand who is coming, any accessibility needs and the combinations of people you would most like photographed. You do not need to practise poses: time together, a cuddle or a little game often creates the most natural expressions.
